On the eve of the inaugural game at Clipper Magazine Stadium, the team worked out under the lights, while finishing touches were put on the ballpark. All that was left was to PLAY BALL!

With the inaugural game at Clipper Magazine Stadium just days away, workers are busy putting the finishing touches on the home of the Lancaster Barnstormers. While most major work has been completed, the final few days of construction will remain quite busy as the beautiful new ballpark is prepared for Wednesday’s first-ever game. Work done on Monday, Tuesday and even into Wednesday will include: installation of carpet and furniture, hanging of stadium signage, putting together picnic chairs and tables, painting, testing of sound and video equipment and other last-minute details. All leading up to what promises to be a memorable and historic night at Clipper Magazine Stadium on Wednesday.
The giant left field video board was fired up for the first time over the weekend. This is the view from the picnic deck, overlooking the 17' high right field wall.
The infield looks to be in pristine condition, from this view behind second base... ...And from this view behind home plate
As the field was watered on a beautiful Sunday afternoon, a rainbow can be seen in this shot. The "Clipper Magazine Stadium" sign was also installed at the home plate gate this weekend.
While in the Home Run Pavillion, you can literally reach out and touch the right field foul pole. The picnic area runs the entire width of the 17' high home run wall.

This view from Section 1, Row A, Seat 1 puts you right on top of the action. Scroll to the very bottom of this page to see what it looked like from that perspective on March 31.

The inaugural game in Clipper Magazine Stadium is under six weeks away and construction at the future home of YOUR Barnstormers is progressing rapidly. Seats began being installed two weeks ago and are 50% complete. Concession stands, clubhouses and offices are taking shape as crews are working seemingly around the clock. In the middle of April, the sod will begin being laid down, a sure sign that baseball can't be that far away! Also in the next few weeks, workers will begin on the Kids’ Park, picnic pavilion and our giant video board and scoreboard will be installed. Be sure to check back here often for updates as we draw closer to May 11 and the return of baseball to Lancaster.

These images are taken from atop what will be the grassy berm in left-center field.
Fans standing around the left field foul pole will have a great vantage point. Workers begin installing the first of the 6,000 seats.
The outside of the ballpark is starting to take shape as well. The food court style concessions will allow for a great variety and ample room.
Another view from the skybox level, with the first sections of seats visible. This photo is of one of our function rooms, great for your group event.
A look down the balcony level in front of the skyboxes. Another great skybox view out towards LF.

If you have reserved Section 1, Row A, Seat 1, this will be your view! Closer to first base then the right fielder!
