CLIPPER MAGAZINE STADIUM LOGO UNVEILED
Tuesday, December 14, 2004

With construction work on Lancaster's new multi-purpose stadium well underway, an official Clipper Magazine Stadium logo was unveiled during a press conference at the construction site on Tuesday afternoon.

The logo was designed to have a classic Americana feel to it and pays homage to the historical importance in Lancaster County. The color scheme is representative of the old Lancaster Red Roses and ties into the logo of the Lancaster Barnstormers. The typeface is modified from the Clipper Magazine corporate masthead and has a multi-dimensional look.

"We are proud to have our name associated with this great new stadium," said Clipper Magazine Founder Steve Zuckerman. "The venue will provide wholesome, family-oriented and affordable entertainment to the entire county and help spur further economic development in and around the city."

Clipper Magazine acquired ten-year naming rights to the stadium earlier this year, a key element in ensuring the return of baseball to Lancaster. Construction on Clipper Magazine Stadium began in late-April and steel arrived and began being erected last week. The Barnstormers inaugural season home opener is scheduled for May 11, 2005.

"The unveiling of this logo represents another step on the road to opening up this great ballpark next May," said Lancaster County Redevelopment Authority Executive Director Randy Patterson.
