The Barnstormers are currently hiring for the following game-day positions.




Customer Service Specialist
Duties include:
• Build strong rapport, trust and credibility with our customers.
• Constant communication with all 1-year Full Season ticket holders, 22- games plan holders and 10- game plan holders as assigned ( approx 500 + accounts)
• Must meet face -to-face with 100% of all assigned accounts during season at least twice – set appointments in advance to meet during games (approx 5-7 in seat visits per game)
• Expected to make 60-80 outbound phone calls per day to customers
• Weekly personal emails to customers detailing upcoming events and promotions
• Keep customers informed of all benefits and special events that are part of their package
• Fulfillment of all perks, benefits, etc. promised to each level of customer
• Monitoring of in-season attendance via redemption reports from ticket scanners
• Communication with plan holders to obtain unused tickets to be donated to new James Street Improvement District unused season ticket program
• Acquire contact information for any and all “silent partners” that a customer may have
• Ask for referrals from customers to generate new plan sales business
• Oversee and ensure highest level of service to customers on game days
• Coordinate and distribute guaranteed giveaways
• Communicate upcoming homestand features with ticket holders

Goals:
• Obtain email addresses from 90% of customer accounts
• Have an average ticket redemption rate of 80% for all customer accounts
• Have a renewal rate of 80% of total customer accounts
• New business goal from referrals (TBD)

Qualifications:
• Unwavering commitment to highest level of customer service
• Effectively communicate over the telephone
• Detail - oriented individual
• Pleasant demeanor

Compensation:
• Bonus Structure based on customer renewal rate: 80% $2,500; 90% $5,000
• Additional bonuses based on cumulative renewal rate of all customer service reps


Marketing Director
Duties include:
• Market and promote all events held at Clipper Magazine Stadium including but not limited to minor league baseball, concerts, deck parties, comedy nights and winter parks.
• Create and implement season long baseball marketing plan.
• Budget for and purchase/trade all print, television, radio, and internet media buys.
• Write and direct all advertising.
• Develop and implement teams promotional schedule.
• Oversee community relations manager and public relations director as well as all interns in the marketing department.
• Oversee updating of www.lancasterbarnstormers.com website.
• Drive advance, walk up, season and group ticket sales.
• Coordinate with group events department to drive “groups no-food” ticket sales for various incentive programs and theme nights.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local/area media.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local/area youth athletic programs.
• Develop and maintain relationships with local/area and national charitable organizations.
• Help develop and grow logo/brand throughout the community.

Corporate Sales Internship (January - September)
Duties include:
• Ability to create sponsorship proposals for the sales staff
• Manage contracts and inventory reports
• Work with sponsors in collecting their artwork for signs, ads and other sponsorship elements
• Communicate and gather pertinent information from our game day sponsors
• Assist sales staff in visiting with sponsors during games and events
• Digital photography of sponsors marketing elements along with first pitches
• Assist in preparing events and mailers
• Assist in development of written material
• Other duties as assigned

• Strong organizational and computer skills

VIDEO PRODUCTION INTERN
The Barnstormers are looking for interns to assist with video production, graphic design, logging footage, and operating our audio and video equipment on game nights. These positions must be taken for college credit, although there is pay for working game nights. Candidates should have a general knowledge of the game of baseball, preferably be pursuing a communications-related degree, and be able to perform well under deadlines.

Box Office Internship (January thru September)
Duties include:
• Assisting Box office Manager in all aspects of the operation
• Selling individual game tickets through ticketing system
• Customer service
• Work directly with groups sales on group seating
• Cash management
• Assist with managing game day box office staff
• Answering box office telephones
• Administrative tasks
• Other duties as assigned
Working Hours:
• Varied hours
Requirements:
• Applicants must be neat in appearance and friendly with all staff, players and fans
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Experience in sales and customer service
• Desire to work the necessary hours to achieve personal and department goals

Customer Service Specialist Internship (January thru September)
The successful customer service intern will possess the desire and demeanor to satisfy the fan, in a friendly, outgoing, and efficient manner. He or she must be willing to promote the well being of the company and themselves through attitude, personal appearance, and work hours outside the norm.
Duties include:
• Interaction with Season Ticket Holders including individuals and businesses
• Assisting Customer Service Specialist
• Communication via internet and telephone
• Organization, planning, promotion, implementation, and assessment of programs and policies
• Administrative tasks
• Other duties and responsibilities as necessary

• Varied hours
Qualifications:
• Time management skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to use knowledge, skills and abilities to perform administrative tasks

• Assist Group Event Managers
• Selling Group Events and Ticket Plans

• Assist in preparing events
• Administrative tasks
• Other duties as assigned
